Maximizing ShopMy with Substack
If you’re launching or running a Substack column, here are some tips on how to use ShopMy to track and optimize your affiliate revenue on Substack.
Create A Substack Tab on your ShopMy account
You’ll want to create a Substack Tab on your ShopMy account in order to specifically track the performance of your affiliate links within your Substack. You can choose to make this tab public or private. To make a tab private, all of the lists within that tab need to be hidden.
To create a Substack tab, go to your Shop page. At the end of your last tab, you’ll see a + button to add a new tab

From there a modal will pop up, and you can add a “custom section.” You can title this “Substack”
Create A Folder For Each of Your Substack Articles
To neatly keep track and manage the clicks + commissions from each of your Substack articles, we recommend creating a collection with items for each article. To do this, go to your Substack tab, and click to add a new collection. Title the collection the same title as your article. We also recommend putting “Substack” at the begginning of the title. For example: “Substack: Favorite Fall Flats”
