How to analyze your performance

An explanation and video walkthrough of ways to analyze your data.

There are several places to track your overall affiliate performance: the links tab, the earnings tab, and within collections.

You can also track your shop views and analytics for specific collections.

The Links Tab

My Links

This is the default view in the Links Tab. Visit the Links tab to check performance across all of your collections and links. Here you’ll see clicks, orders, and commission earned. You can also download this data to analyze within a tool like Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

You can filter your analytics in a variety of ways. Click the arrow next to “created”, “clicks”, “orders”, or “earned” to sort your links in ascending or descending order for that variable.

You can also select a date range to see activity for your links in that time frame. For example, If you want to see how many clicks your links got in the month of December, you can enter the start date as December 1st and the end date as December 31st. It will still show all of your links, but the analytics shown (clicks, orders, and earned) will be the total within that date range.

Performance by Website

This allows you to view total volume, clicks, orders, and earnings for a specific domain, or retailer website. This data can be sorted and filtered in the same way as the “My Links” view.

A green check next to a retailer name means they are a ShopMy brand partner. This means a brand can track your performance and may use ShopMy to offer gifted products, custom commissionable codes, or flat fee Opportunities. We recommend your prioritize sharing ShopMy brand partners to take advantage of these features.

All Orders

This view allows you to see a breakdown of every order your links have driven. Here, you can see the total value of the sale as well as the total commission you earned. You can also see if a discount code was used.

*Note: you may see negative order total or commission listed. This usually means an order was canceled or a return occurred, meaning you will no longer earn commission.

The Earnings Tab

Your earnings tab allows you to see your monthly total earnings, earnings from referral bonuses, and a breakdown of all commissionable orders. The “order total” column within the “commissions” section is a great way to understand your average order volume. You can also use this table to track when your audience uses discount codes on orders. Just like the links tab, this data is available to download.

Collection Analytics

To track shop views, visit your main shop page, and tap “show analytics” at the top of your shop page. This shows your shop views, collection views, and earnings for each collection. To get out of analytics mode click “hide analytics” at the top.

Within a collection, you can also tap “show analytics” at the top and this will show you the number of clicks on each item, orders, and amount earned in commissions.
