What Is Brand Favoriting?
Brand favoriting is a new feature that lets you mark brands as favorites directly within chat on ShopMy. Once you've favorited a brand, you can use the Favorite Brands filter in chat to quickly surface those conversations, available on both web and mobile.
How to Favorite a Brand
There are two ways to favorite a brand in chat:
From your chat list (web):
- Open Chat on ShopMy.
- Hover over a brand conversation to reveal the action icons.
- Click the star icon (☆) to favorite that brand. A "Favorite Brand" tooltip will confirm the action.
From inside a conversation (web & mobile):
- Open a conversation with a brand.
- Click or tap the star icon (☆) next to the brand's name at the top of the conversation.
- The star will fill in to confirm the brand has been favorited.
How to Filter by Favorite Brands
On web:
- Go to Chat and click Filters.
- Check Favorite Brands - "Only show brands you have favorited."
- Your chat list will update to show only your favorited brand conversations.
On mobile:
- Go to Messages and tap Filters.
- Select Favorite Brands from the filter options.
- Tap Apply to update your chat list.
