One of the great things about ShopMy is that you can link to any website, even if a brand, retailer, or product isn't currently commissionable.
This gives you the flexibility to share the products you genuinely recommend and provide your audience with the links they're looking for - regardless of whether there's an earning opportunity attached. It's a great way to maintain transparency and build trust with your audience without limiting what you share to commissionable products.
What Does “Non-Commissionable” or 0% Mean?
If a brand, retailer, or product displays Non-Commissionable, No Affiliate Payout Found, or a 0% commission rate, this means the purchase is not currently eligible to generate commission through ShopMy.
Importantly, this also means the order itself will not track back to your ShopMy account.
Because there isn't an active affiliate tracking relationship for that purchase, ShopMy won't receive information about the transaction. As a result:
- You won't earn commission on the purchase.
- The order won't appear in your Links or Earnings tabs.
- No order volume will be recorded for that purchase.
Does a Non-Commissionable Order Count Toward My Tier Progression?
No. Because non-commissionable purchases aren't reported back to ShopMy, there is no order volume for ShopMy to apply toward your tier progression.
Even if you know someone purchased through your link, we aren't able to manually add that order volume when the brand, retailer, or product isn't part of an eligible affiliate program.
Why Would Something Be Non-Commissionable?
There are a few reasons you may see a 0% commission rate or Non-Commissionable status.
A brand or retailer may not currently participate in an affiliate program available through ShopMy, or they may exclude certain products, brands, or categories from their affiliate program.
For retailers that carry many different brands or product categories, this means some items may be commissionable while others are not.
Before sharing, check the commission details. You can review the commission rate and select the “i” icon for any available details, exclusions, or earning conditions. And remember, you're always welcome to share a product you love, even when it isn't commissionable!
