Commissions don't appear the moment a purchase is made — they move through a few stages before showing up in your ShopMy account. Here's what to expect.
How Commissions Are Tracked
- Click & Purchase — When someone clicks your link and buys, the affiliate network records the transaction.
- Reporting delay — Networks batch and report transactions in intervals, which can take 24–72 hours to show up in ShopMy.
- Pending status — Once it appears, the commission will show as Pending while the merchant's return window is open. It hasn't been paid out yet — that's normal.
- Locked → Paid — After the return window closes (typically 30–90 days, depending on the merchant), the commission gets locked and queued for payout.
⚠️ Orders can take up to 7 days to appear. If it's been less than that, it may still be on its way.
Check If the Item Is Commissionable
Not every product earns commission. Before assuming something is missing, tap the "i" icon next to the commission rate on the product — this will tell you whether the item you shared is eligible for commission.
💡 Tip: If there's no commission rate listed, the brand may not have that product enabled for affiliate tracking.
