Notifications

Adjusting your notification settings.

In order to maximize your experience with ShopMy, we allow you to configure the emails and push notifications that you receive from brands on the platform. The configurations you choose can be adjusted at any time in your Account Settings.

Where Can I Update my Notification Settings?

Desktop

Login on your desktop and click on the three lines in the top right corner.

  • Select “Account Settings”
Mobile

In your ShopMy App, click on the “account” option at the bottom right hand corner of your screen.

  • You’ll see an option called “Account Settings”
  • Once you click on this, you will be brought a browser where you can log in.
  • From there, you will be on your Account Setting page. Scroll down until you see “Notification Settings”
  • You can adjust and customize from here!

How Do I Know Which Notifications I Want?

Please view each section below to understand the different notification settings. You can adjust these at any time in your account settings based on your preferences.

Messages from Brands

Email Type
Reason
Configurability & Recommendation
Direct Messages
Brands sending you a direct message.
Recommended On
General Messages
Brands sending a message in bulk to their community. These can be sales, new product releases or other general updates.
Default Off

Gifting from Brands

Email Type
Reason
Recommendation
New Gifting
Brands send you a new gifting request
We highly recommend leaving this on, as responsiveness to gifting requests impacts your rankings to brands.
Gifting Updates
Updates to the order status of gifting requests that you have accepted
We default this to stay on, but if you accept a large amount of gifting you may wish to turn this off.

Opportunities from Brands

Email Type
Reason
Recommendation
New Gifting
Brands send you a new gifting request
We highly recommend leaving this on, as opportunities often have a short expiration window and responsiveness is essential.
Opportunity Updates
Updates to the status of your active opportunities
This is helpful so we alert you when you have completed the opportunity and payment has been transferred.

Discount Codes from Brands

Email Type
Reason
Recommendation
New Codes
Brands send you a new discount code
We recommend leaving these on, as codes may have expiration windows and you want to make sure to share while the codes are active.
Code Removals
Updates when discount codes have been disabled
We highly recommend keeping this to ensure you don’t share inactive codes with your audience.
