Content FAQs

Q: What are the dates of #ShopMyFestival?

A: This campaign will span from Tuesday, April 4 through Sunday, April 23. In-feed content (like Instagram posts, Reels, TikToks, etc.) needs to stay in your feed for at least 90 days in order to be counted for the bonus.

Q: What types of content are eligible for #ShopMyFestival?

A: In-feed content tagged with #ShopMyFestival that tags the ShopMy social channels (on IG or TikTok) that is associated to a collection or quick links. So that means in-feed static posts, Reels, and/or TikTok videos! As far as how you decide to share the links, that is entirely up to you — shoppable posts, sharing a collection in IG stories, sharing quick links, etc.

Q: Do I need to attend Coachella in order to participate in #ShopMyFestival?

A: Nope! We understand not everyone will be able to make it to the festival. Whether you're attending in person or following along from your feed, you will be able to participate!

Q: What kind of content should I create for #ShopMyFestival?

A: We definitely encourage you to get creative here — there is so much cool content to be created around festival season. See below for some inspo:

Q: Can I post more than once about the #ShopMyFestival?

A: Yes, we encourage you to post and make as many collections as possible. The more you post the more chances you have to earn!

Q: I want to make shop sections for my social posts for all of my festival content, but I don’t know how.

A: Creating shoppable feeds for your social posts is a great way to make your content easily shoppable on ShopMy! Here are some steps to take in order to do so:

  1. Go to your Account Settings within the ShopMy web experience and make sure your social accounts are connected.
  2. Head back to your shop page. Add a new Section by clicking the + on right of your shop page. Under Add a New Section, select which social media feed you want to create Section for.
  3. The following steps for web and app vary. See below!
  • Web: To create a new post, go to this Shop Section and select Add New Post. Select which social media post to connect and add products.
  • App: To create a new post, click + Collection, select the correct social shop section you’d like to add to, and then select the respective social post you’d like to add

Earnings FAQs

Q: When will I receive my bonus should I be eligible to receive one?

A: Bonuses will go out with the rest of your commission payouts when payouts lock. As a reminder, payments are administered after the retailer return window closes, which can take up to about 105 days. This is just how affiliate networks work — they have to offer the brand or retailer the ability to adjust for any cancelled or returned orders. After the return window passes, the commissions are converted from “Pending” to “Locked” Earnings to be paid out on a weekly basis — our payout day is on Fridays!

Q: How will I know if I’m receiving a #ShopMyFestival bonus? Is there a minimum amount of earnings I need to hit before I can earn a bonus?

A: No minimum earnings required! You’ll earn a 25% bonus on qualifying commissions from 4/4 through 4/23. In terms of tracking, you will be able to track all of your earnings with their corresponding bonuses within your Earnings tab.

Q: What happens if I generate earnings on my #ShopMyFestival links after 4/23? (i.e. if I post something on 4/23 and keep getting orders through the rest of that week)

A: To keep things simple, we will only be monitoring links and earnings until EOD on April 23. Only links created and earnings generated until that day will be counted toward the bonus.
